I know exactly what you mean, and that is a great story. Thanks for sharing!

There are some stories, whether movies or in books, that I loved seeing sequels to. Others were real groaners. I have read some series that I was disappointed to have to wait for the next one to be written. But I like exploring new stories too.

In regard to The Day of the Triffids, I went to see the movie when it first came out. I think I would have been about 11 or 12 years old. It scared the beejeebers outta me! I ran from street light to street light all the way home. (Yes, this was in the days when parents didn’t really have to worry so much about a kid walking home after dark.). What was really spooky, was that the trees (this was in the city of WOODLAND, CA.) were dewing and the sound was eerily like the sound of the Triffids in the move!

I can laugh about it now. But wow, what a story!
